Stay Cool this Summer with Flavored Waters

When the hot summer months hit, sometimes you just need to cool off with a cold one. Skip high-calorie alcoholic drinks, and opt for a refreshing beverage that’s much better for your clean eating plan: WATER! Skinny Ms. has got three different types of recipes for fun, flavored waters, that will cool you down and satisfy your taste buds.

BLENDED WATER RECIPES:
Using a blender, combine the all of the ingredients and half of the water the recipes calls for until very smooth. Strain through a medium-strainer (lined with cheesecloth is best) into a pitcher. Add the remaining water and stir. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Serve over ice for best flavor.

Cantaloupe Water
4 Cups Cantelope, peeled and cut into ½ inch cubes
3 Cups Water
4 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar, or other natural sweetener

Watermelon Water
4 Cups Watermelon, peeled and cut into ½ inch cubes
3 Cups Water
4 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar, or other natural sweetener

Green Pineapple Water
3 Cups Fresh Pineapple Chunks
2 Cups Fresh Spinach
2 Cups Coconut Water
6 Cups Water
1 Tablespoon Agave Nectar, or other natural sweetener

Kiwi Water
8-10 Kiwis, peeled and cubed
6 Cups Water
2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
1 Teaspoon Agave Nectar
