DIY for Loose Skin Tightening

Fight nature with nature.

As we age, our skin naturally begins to wear down. On top of that, facing natural elements like the sun, cold, and wind takes an even greater toll. While aging is inevitable, there are easy and inexpensive ways to slow the process down! You can fight off loose skin with just two simple ingredients. This loose skin tightening DIY recipe will firm-up your skin and give you a long lasting, youthful appearance.

Ingredients and Why They Work:

Cucumber – Cucumbers contain key nutrients which are capable of naturally restoring the skin. Vitamins C and K are both antioxidants that fight off wrinkle-causing free radicals. The beneficial skin-tightening ingredient in cucumbers is silica, which promotes connective tissue growth.

Egg White – Egg whites naturally cause skin to tighten, providing you with a lifted, youthful look!

DIY for Loose Skin Tightening

  1. Cut a cucumber in half and peel the skin off one half.
  2. Slice the peeled half into smaller chunks, no bigger than 1 inch each.
  3. Using a blender on medium speed, blend for 2 minutes or until the mixture is turned into pulp.
  4. Place a strainer over a bowl and place the pulp onto the strainer.
  5. Allow the juice to drain into the bowl and use a spoon to push out any additional juice into the bowl.
  6. Add 1 egg white and lightly mix together.
  7. Apply this mixture to any part of your body or face which needs tightening.
  8. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with cool water.
  9. Use this mask 1-2 times a week for best results.

    1. Dianne, Yes, the leftovers can be kept in the refrigerator to use later. You might want to heat them slightly to remove the chill from the fridge.

  1. Hi there. Kindly suggest a substitute to eggs ( with cucumber) as I am a pure vegetarian. I don’t even like to use it ( eggs) externally.

    1. Unfortunately, there is no substitution for eggs in this particular DIY, but there are other natural ingredients that can be used to promote skin tightening. Try using a baking soda paste (baking soda and water), aloe vera, or honey.

    1. Admarie, It really depends on the individual, everyone is different. Be sure to drink lots of water and workout six days each week. I found that weight training did wonders to tightening my skin. I’ve been working out regularly for over 7 years. Give it a try, you’ll start to see results after just a few months.

  2. I am 73, don’t mind the age, just the wrinkles. Will give it a try. My arms are the worst. I also haven’t tried watermelon juice on my arms but did on my face. Let it dry, it didn’t remain sticky.

  3. Going to try this…the older I get the more wrinkles I see…not much cost a as other products on the market…thk you for sharing for free ?

  4. I too am 73 but willing to give it a go don’t mind 73 but l don’t want the wrinkles thanks for tips.
