  1. I love this mason jar idea because I find that I don't eat unhealthy ~ I eat mostly healthy foods, but it's the portions that are killing me. Chasing around my 2 and 4 year olds in exhausting and I'll not a handful of nuts, but the whole 1 pound salted bag in a sitting! This is doing nothing for my waistline. Thanks for this new tip to help me with portion control.

  2. I've been eatng clean for about a month. My trouble is that I am allergic to beans, all kinds plus lentils and chick peas. I can eat fresh green beans and peas off the vine. With this in mind, what can I use to substitute for the beans in recipes. I've used brown rice, and quinoa. Is there anything else that you can think of to replace the beans? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank you for such a variety of flavors in your recipes, with such a great idea in portion control.
One last question: What kind of cheese can I replace feta cheese with? I'm not fond of the flavor.
I love your website, and your recipes! Thank you.

    1. Sherry, You can replace feta cheese with any low fat/skim cheese of your choosing. Green beans and peas are great substitutes. Replace the beans with chicken or tofu or a vegetable of your choosing.
